The process began with a sketch based on a previous piece the couple who commissioned the work admired using different proportions and colors. The framed work was custom made to fit the wall space. The colours were chosen to ensure the work would appear bright and dynamic.

Once the design was approved, an actual-size sketch was created to ensure the proportions were correct once scaled up.
